Why should I buy my pixels here?

• It's quite simple... because they are not expensive here and you will have an option for a large size animated banner to appear when people hover the cursor over your ad.


• It will not cost you much to have an easy-to-read ad on this page.


• Here you have a chance to place a pop-up Banner that will appear when people hover the cursor over your ad. You will become very visible.


• Your ad and pop-up banner will remain live for at least 5 years.


• You will not only be buying an advert, you will also be helping to reduce your carbon footprint and save a million trees.

What is the idea?

• Well the initial idea was not ours .The whole pixel-page concept was started by University student Alex Tew.


• Everyone is welcome to buy pixels, which are available in 100-pixel 'blocks' (each measuring 10x10 pixels).You will see the homepage is divided into 10,000 of these 100-pixel blocks (hence there are 1,000,000 pixels in total).The reason for selling them in 100-pixel blocks is because anything smaller would be too small to display anything meaningful.


• You can buy as many pixels as you like, as long as there are some available (see the live stats in the top right corner of the page). When you buy some pixels, you can then display an image/ad/logo of your choice in the space you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own website.


• The pixels you buy will be displayed on Pixeltrees permanently. The website Pixeltrees.com will not change. We guarantee that we will keep this site online for at least 5 years, or as long as the original MDHP is alive.

Why can't I buy one single pixel?

• Why would you want to buy a single pixel if you can publish your image here for free using up to 1,000 pixels? In practice, it wouldn't be so effective. You wouldn't be able to display anything meaningful in one pixel - nor click it easily - so visually, it would be pointless.

How long will the site be online?

• The site will be online for 5 years guaranteed; however the aim is to keep the site online forever.


• The idea is to create a homepage that is permanent. Everything on the internet keeps changing so fast,it will be nice to have something that stays solid and permanent for many years. You can be a part of that!

Can I buy less than 6 blocks of space on this page?

• Sure

Can I buy my pixels now and provide you with a pop-up image later?

• Yes for now. But we reserve the right to change this condition if traffic to the site increases and doesn't allow time to help you with this.

What kinds of ads can I make?

• Your ads are subject to the limitations common to the majority of pixel sites. In the following format up to 250KB

• PNG




• No obscene/offensive/adult links will be accepted, and we decide what is appropriate for the site. If you submit a link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative.


• If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one and you will not be provided with a refund

What kind of people are you expecting to buy pixels on Pixeltrees.com?

• Anyone who wants to market their business can buy pixels from here. We would be providing free pop-ups of their logos and those who click on the logo will be redirected to corresponding sites.


• In addition, individuals may want to be involved in such a worthwhile project. Instead of adverts people could post wedding photos, birthday greetings etc. and leave their mark on the internet.
