Where your money will be spent?

We will be working with the World Land trust to save trees in Ecuador, rainforests there desperately need our help!

The land we buy is protected indefinitely as private reserves owned and managed by local organisations for the benefit of both wildlife and people.

Ecuador: 80% of Ecuador's tropical forests are already gone, leaving many species globally threatened, so we need to act quickly to save what is left. With your help we can do just that whilst helping yourselves which makes Pixeltrees.com so unique.

- Over 400 species of amphibians.

- Well over 16,000 species of plants (25% of which are endemic), including 4,000 species of orchids.

Wildlife under threat:

- Very little intact habitat remains, perhaps as little as 10% in the Andean and western coastal provinces of Ecuador. This is a result of relatively high human population density.

When will the trees be purchased?

Working with WLT we have reserved a million trees with our goal of reaching that target within a year. As we receive the money through the purchasing of pixels we will pass on the money to WLT every quarter.The money will then be used to buy these trees. If we fulfill our mission before the year is up we will save the trees sooner.
